So, you're here for the word FREE.
And, you've
got a product, service or a site to sell.
Well, here's the deal.
I don't know
the first thing about web-commerce or making money from a web site. This is my
first attempt at putting one together and I'm trying to learn.
What I do know is that a decent collection of midi files will ultimately take up a lot of space on somebody's
server and any good web host is going to charge the MidiFrog a lot of monthly bucks to maintain the site.
That's something I can't afford.
So, the purpose of that ad space is that, at some point in time, I hope I can figure out a way to generate
a few pennies by selling ads on my site like some of the other sites I have visited.
Any tips, suggestions or ideas you might have towards that end would be greatly appreciated.
Ultimately, I hope to have the best, most-visited midi site on the web. I've spent a lot of time re-mixing and tweaking those same old midi-files found on other sites and I think
most of the ones found here sound better than the originals. Once word gets around
the midi-community I think I will have lots of "hits".
In the meantime, I'll offer the space free at my discretion. First priority goes to those that help
me make this site a success. The
offer is not guaranteed and it's not forever.
Also,
you need to know that I have some moral values when it comes to things like porno sites, scams and rip-offs of innocent people. Before I put an ad or link on my page I'll check it out and pull it at the first sign
that its not legit. So don't waste your time and mine if that's your game.
